Firstly I would like to thank you for your understanding and support since we opened again, on the 11th October, to fully vaccinated clients as per NSW Government requirements. As I write this more restrictions have been eased. However, these requirements, as far as I can ascertain, still apply when attending Bowen Health Therapy:

• QR code check in
• Mask upon entering
• Hand sanitiser
• Proof of double vaccination
• If not double vaccinated then NSW Govt – Covid-19 Vaccine Medical Contraindication Form to be completed by your doctor

No doubt these will change again hopefully making life easier.It has been a joy to see people again and to help bring relief from pain, discomfort or stress levels that increased during the lockdown period. Being able to see family and friends again as we move towards 2022 is very exciting, though it would be good to let go of some of the stressors of 2021. We could be forgiven for thinking that 2021 has been ‘groundhog day’. It has certainly been a very stressful time for many and in many ways: personally, socially, financially, emotionally, mentally and physically, with isolation being a significant contributor to many people’s difficulties in coping with another year of uncertainty on all levels. For some people, after such a time of isolation, there may well be anxiety at the thought of venturing out into the community again. If this is you then you are not alone. However, if it has a debilitating effect on you then it would be wise to speak with your doctor or there is always 24 hour help with Lifeline on 131114 or their website is www.lifeline.or.au I encourage you not to be alone in your fears. Remember we are here to help ease:

• general aches and pains
• stress / anxiety levels
• back and neck pain
• shoulder and arm discomfort
• hip and knee pain and more….
